定义

规律性（regularity, law-likeness）是指客观事物相互作用中所固有的稳定的规定性。一般指事物形态及其发展过程中固有的内在的本质联系，以及其发展的必然趋势。我国先秦时《易传》提出：“一阴一阳之谓道”，初步提出了阴阳相互作用是万物发展的普遍性规律这一素朴的观点。在欧洲，古希腊哲学家毕达哥拉斯已提出天上星球之间都有一定“数”的关系。对此恩格斯提出“数”服从于一定的规律，同样，宇宙也是如此。于是宇宙的规律性第一次被说出来了”(马克思恩格斯，1971: 527)。马克思主义哲学认为，规律性是事物相互联系相互作用中固有的本性，事物的规律性是客观的、不以人的意志为转移的。规律性与必然性是同一序列的范畴，规律性与因果性也有内在联系，但规律性不是偶然的因果联系，而是一般的本质的必然的因果联系。人们通常把规律性与规律作为同一含义的哲学范畴。研究事物的客观规律性，要注意把握其一般与特殊的相互联系（金炳华，2003: 243）。
