定义

道德实践是指人们依据一定的道德观念、道德原则或道德规范，在一定的道德情感、道德意志的作用下，通过一定的途径与中介，所进行的旨在改造人们之间的道德关系、且具有善恶意义的活动。就其具体形式而言，它一般包括道德行为、道德评价、道德教育、道德修养和其他具有道德价值并应承担道德责任的活动。道德实践具有以下三种基本特征：（1）能动性。这是比较其他社会实践更为明显与突出的一个特征。这是因为，任何道德实践在开始前主体必须首先具有一定的道德观念，要按照一定的道德原则与道德规范行事，而这种道德观念、道德原则、道德规范的正确与否又直接关系到道德实践的性质与方向、力度与恒久性等等。道德实践的这种能动性集中表现为它的目的性以及实践过程中道德意志的自主性、自决性、自律性；（2）社会历史性。因为从事道德实践的人是社会的人，他总是处于一定的社会历史条件之中，指导这种实践的观念、原则与规范也是具体的历史的。任何在进行过程中的实践又总是处于一定的社会经济、政治、文化等历史条件之中。所以，从来没有什么抽象的超历史的道德实践；（3）客观物质性。道德实践活动的主体既可以是个体也可以群体，作为主客体的人或社会具有物质性（楼竞洲，2005：8-10）。
