尼采（Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche，1844—1900），德国哲学家，唯意志论和生命哲学的主要代表之一。早年就读于波恩大学和莱比锡大学，1869年起任瑞士巴塞尔大学古典语言学教授。1879年因病辞职，专事著述，直至1889年精神分裂丧失理智为止。早年接受叔本华为意志论的影响，推崇浪漫主义作曲家格瓦纳的艺术思想，后把叔本华的生命意志发展为“强力意志”和“重新估价一切价值”。认为生命的本质是意志，它不是求真理的意志或叔本华所说的求生存的意志，而是扩张自我，追求强力，占有和奴役外物与他人的意志，是“一种贪得无厌地表现强力的欲望或应用强力作为创造的本能”。尼采以此作为估量一切就价值和确立新价值的标准，提出“上帝死了”的口号，抨击基督教及其道德，抨击自古希腊以来的理性主义传统，把西方传统的真、善、美等价值观念视为扼杀强力意志的工具，不能认识事物的本来面目和真实的世界、真理只是一种主观的信念，是对某种判断的确信和评价。在本体论上，认为西方传统哲学把世界区分为假象的世界和真实的世界，并追求真实世界的本质，探讨始因、实体、物性，这是完全错误的，无用的，应当抛弃“物质”、“精神”等实体概念的变态，确认“真实的世界无法证明它是存在的”。世界上唯一可以确定的基本事实就是意志，它是一切事物唯一可能的共同特征。世间的联系只是一个意志征服另一个意志，整个世界是由一个个意志冲动形成的偶然性的堆砌，无必然性可言。意志不断创造自身、超越自身，永远流转易形，没有确定的方向，形成永恒轮回（金炳华，2003：1058）。“超人”是尼采为克服虚无主义设立的目标。在尼采看来，普遍的、自在自为的价值是没有的，价值是由意志确立起来的。超人就是那种能自己确立自己的价值，并按照这种价值去判断和行动的人。超人敢于为自己树立远大的目标，具有创造性，积极进取，勇敢无畏。视角主义是尼采提出的克服虚无主义的一种思想方法。他主张：每个人的视角都是由他的意志确定的 ,他的意志就是他的视角。每一个人都从自己的意志出发看待世界，他所看到的世界只是他的意志的视角中的世界。因此，普遍的真理是没有的，只有相对于他的视角的真理；普遍的价值也是没有的，只有相对于他的意志的视角的价值（张庆熊，2010：3）。尼采的主要著作有《悲剧的诞生》、《扎拉图斯特拉如是说》、《善恶之彼岸》、《反基督教》、《请看斯人》、《权力意志》等。
