定义

发散性思维，又称扩散性思维、辐射性思维、求异思维。是一种从不同的方向、途径和角度去设想，探求多种答案，最终使问题获得圆满解决的思维方法（黄淼等，2012：149）。这种思维方式要求思维者充分发挥想象力，突破原有知识圈，从一点向四面八方想开去，并通过知识、观念的重新组合，寻找更新、更多的设想、答案或方法。发散思维是不依常规，寻求变异，对给出的材料、信息从不同角度，向不同方向，用不同方法或途径进行分析和解决问题的思维方法（岳文强等，2011：8）。发散性思维不受各种条件的限制，是以一种事物的特征为基础向前向后等各个方向展开思维的形式。与之对应的是聚合性思维，又称求同思维、辐合思维，是根据已知的条件，思维指向同一方向，寻求同一种问题的结果（高丽华等，2009：133）。发散性思维要求沿着各种不同的方面去思考，重组眼前的信息和记忆系统中的信息，寻求思维的多向性，是人类进行创造活动的关键成分（杨治良，2007：91）。发散性思维的基本特点：一是具有跨学科领域的广域性，二是在时空上具有广阔性，三是在想象思维上具有无限性，四是不受约束的灵活性和变通性。发散性思维不受以前知识的束缚，不受已有经验的限定，不从条条框框出发，而是从各个不同的甚至是超越常规（即不合常规）的角度去思考和探索问题。发散性思维是创新思维的基础性部分，具有流畅性、广阔性、灵活性（变通性）和独特性的特征（裴旭明，2006：55）。
