三类知识，是指哈贝马斯提出的实用知识的三种形式，哈贝马斯认为“知识的产生根源于人类的三种旨趣（利益），相应也有三类知识，否认历史——解释知识、经验——分析知识和技术控制旨趣的统治地位”（尤尔根·哈贝马斯.via：https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E5%B0%A4%E5%B0%94%E6%A0%B9%C2B7%E5%93%88%E8%B4%9D%E9%A9%AC%E6%96%AF）。哈贝马斯在论述“三类知识”中的以批判为导向含有一种解放认知旨趣的知识类型的时候指出：“对解放的旨趣，来源于人们对行为的某种理性自主及对摆脱特定关系支配的关切”。从来源上主要基于人类的自我反思的能力，对于现有知识和关系结构做出某种分析和批判。由这种知识构成旨趣所形成的知识体系，被哈贝马斯谓之“批判的社会科学”。
