定义

信任是伦理学术语。“是人与人之间的一种道德关系。指社团成员对彼此诚实、合作行为的期待。”（金炳华，2003：672）对他人或社会团体的一种相信并敢于委托的态度，也是人与人之间的一种道德关系。信任表明主体对他人的可靠、忠实、正直和诚意具有坚定的信念，毫不怀疑。信任的对立面是不相信和猜忌，怀疑他人的动机是否真诚，不相信他人能忠实于共同事业和共同利益。信任产生于人们相互交往的过程中，人们在共同的劳动和生活中，为了达到共同的目的和理想，必须把力量联合起来、协调起来，从而引起相互约定和信任的需要。信任关系建立在一定共同利益的基础上。对信任关系的破坏，从根本上说，常常是为了满足一己的利益或自私的需要，破坏了共同利益，从而丧失信任基础所引起的。在以私有制为基础的阶级社会里，由于人们之间存在着利益上的相互对立，欺骗、虚伪、勾心斗角，尔虞我诈等现象大量存在，破坏了人们彼此间的信任。在社会主义条件下，广大劳动人民的根本利益是一致的，有着共同的理想，为人与人之间逐步建立和发展平等、团结、友爱、互助、和谐和信任的关系，提供了客观基础和有利条件。社会主义道德要求反对、揭露社会生活中仍然存在的、用不正当手段骗取信任和背信弃义的不道德行为（宋希仁等,1989）。
