剩余快感是法国作家、学者、精神分析学家拉康·雅克（Jaques Lacan，公元1901年4月13日—公元1981年9月9日）所使用的哲学术语。马克思在其《资本论》中精辟地论述了资本主义“剩余价值”的生产对于作为劳动的人的工人阶级主体的异化剥削，拉康根据这一逻辑，提出了“剩余快感”的理论，所谓剩余快感也就是需求满足之后的快感。“剩余快感”又与拉康的另一概念“剩余欲望”有关，拉康认为，欲望才是人的本质，欲望的膨胀和欲望表达的过剩，必然导致剩余欲望的出现。主体的剩余快感是剩余欲望的产物，但同时，剩余快感又是剩余欲望的内在驱力（赵子昂，2008：30）。欲望的剩余是指欲望现象的剩余，而不是欲望本体的剩余。相反，欲望现象或欲望表达的剩余，反而会使欲望本体的内容更加贫乏。剩余欲望与剩余快感之间存在着一种张力，这种张力促使欲望表达不断地推陈出新，以此刺激剩余快感的获取。在剩余快感的驱动下，欲望的表达层出不穷，这导致日常生活中，出现了审美与审丑的双重泛化现象（刘玲，2006：160）。
