佛教经典，经文谓佛为诸人众演说现在贤劫自拘那提佛至楼至佛千佛之名号，每一百佛后有一段长短不等的忏悔文。

A Mahāyāna sutra. The Buddha lists the names of the thousand buddhas who will appear during the "auspicious eon" (Bhadrakalpa), due to the merits they showed by practicing meditation.
