定义

价值导向是指一定社会或阶级为了实现其政治经济目的，依据其价值观念和价值原则要求，所形成的总的指导思想和所提倡的社会生活的总体指向。价值导向贯穿、渗透于人的所有活动之中，制约着人的一切行动，对任何一个社会的发展都具有举足轻重的作用。对组织而言，价值导向是确定激励机制的基础，通过树立标竿、奖励绩优，来明确组织鼓励的行为，传递组织倡导的价值导向。如电影、歌曲、杂志、报纸、电子文章、博客、微博、画展等媒体，它们所展现的效果就是一种价值实现过程，作为一个组织有权力和义务进行价值的导向分类确定。价值导向和价值取向既有联系也有区别。二者的区别主要表现为：所谓价值取向，就是人们在一定的场合以一定的方式采取一定行动的行为倾向。而价值导向是指社会对个人、集体价值取向的有目的的路线。价值取向的主体是个人、群体和社会，价值导向的主体只是社会；价值取向的依据在于价值认识的多元性，价值导向的依据在于价值真理的一元性；其联系主要表现为：价值取向是价值导向的前提，价值导向是价值取向的向导，二者统一于人们的价值实践和价值创造的全过程之中（徐晨光等，1996：53）。
