定义

新马克思主义是与所谓“旧马克思主义”（指苏联、社会民主主义、欧洲共产主义、托洛茨基主义等所谓“政党性”的马克思主义）相区别的一个思想流派，是指20世纪20年代以来，西方学者对马克思主义进行重新解释和重新设计的西方政治思潮。“东欧新马克思主义与通常意义上的西方马克思主义以及70年代后欧美新马克思主义共同构成了20世纪新马克思主义的基本格局”（衣俊卿，2010：5），也即新马克思主义主要指西方马克思主义和东欧新马克思主义，后者包括南斯拉夫的实践派、民主德国布洛赫的希望哲学、波兰哲学家沙夫为首的人文学派、匈牙利的布达佩斯学派、捷克斯洛伐克的存在人类学派等流派和人物，他们大多是东欧社会主义国家共产党内形成的反对派。该流派基本以西方马克思主义为思想基础，对苏联等国的社会主义模式不满，批评“斯大林主义”，强调民主和人道主义，寻求不同于西方资本主义和苏联社会主义的“第三条道路”，鼓吹异化理论和所谓的“青年马克思”思想，反对恩格斯和列宁（新马克思主义.via：http://epub.cnki.net/kns/brief/default_result.aspx）。东欧新马克思主义鲜明的理论特色主要有：第一，对马克思思想独特的、深刻的阐述；第二，对社会主义理论与实践、历史与命运的反思和对社会主义改革的理论设计；第三，对现代性的独特的理论反思。
