道德品质和道德行为的简称（金炳华等，2001：1096）。
　品行是一个人的具有道德意义的行为的总和。品行把一个人所有的行为包括在内（不管它们是有意的还是无意的，也不管做出这些行为是根据道德冲动还是别的什么冲动）。品行不同于风俗，风俗包括不同的人的同类行为，而品行则包括同一个人（单个人、一个集体、一个组织、一群人）的各种不同的行为，这些不同种类的行为表现其道德性质的不同方面，进而指明了某一个人或某个集体活动的特点。马克思主义伦理学的出发点是，一个人的品行，归根到底，是他的道德面貌、道德品质，也包括动机在内的唯一的客观标志。它反对把人的“内在的”精神世界同人的“外在的”举动唯心地对立起来，而这种对立是过去大多数伦理学理论所具有的特征。马克思主义伦理学认为，动机和行动、人的意图和客观事物是统一的。因此，指导人的那些动机不单纯地表现为一个人关心自己本身的行为，也表现的在长时间内不同条件下他的品行的共同方针。在社会主义社会里，评价（赞扬或谴责）人们的行为，不是简单地从抽象的道德说教出发，而是要弄清它的原因，并在集体道德教育过程中，目的明确地指导人们的品行（李春秋，1993：61）。
