定义

一定阶级或社会集团的观点、思想和理论的总和，即意识形态。政治思想、法律思想、道德、艺术、哲学、宗教等，都是思想体系的表现形式。而一定阶级或一定集团的思想体系，又往往是多种思想体系的总和。因此，资产阶级的政治法律思想、道德、艺术、宗教、哲学等思想观点的总和便构成资本主义的思想体系，无产阶级的政治法律思想、道德、艺术、哲学等思想观点的总和便构成社会主义、共产主义的思想体系。思想体系是社会意识形式的组成部分，一般说来，对于社会存在有比较集中、比较深刻的反映，而且系统化、理论化了。思想体系反映社会存在，是由社会存在决定的；同时，它又能动地反作用于社会存在。在有阶级的社会中，一般说来，思想体系具有阶级性。不同的阶级有不同的思想体系。统治阶级的思想体系构成一定社会的思想上层建筑，在社会上居于统治地位，它是为维护这个社会的经济基础服务的。被统治阶级也有自己的思想体系，它反对统治阶级的思想体系，维护被统治阶级的利益。不同阶级的思想体系，对社会发展起着不同的作用：进步阶级的思想体系推动社会的发展；没落阶级的思想体系则阻碍社会的发展。任何一个思想体系的形成，都要借鉴和继承以往思想史上的遗产、成果。任何一种思想体系一旦形成，就具有相对的独立性和稳定性。一个阶级不复存在了，但是反映这个阶级利益的思想体系不会自动地、立即地退出历史舞台（刘炳瑛，1988：590）。进步的革命的思想体系是在同腐朽没落的思想体系作斗争中产生、发展的。邓小平说：“毛泽东思想是个思想体系。我和罗荣桓同志曾经同林彪作过斗争，批评他把毛泽东思想庸俗化，而不是把毛泽东思想当作体系来看待。我们要高举旗帜，就是要学习和运用这个思想体系”（邓小平，1994：39）。无产阶级的思想体系，是无产阶级的阶级地位和历史要求的反映，是由无产阶级的社会物质生活条件决定的。它是无产阶级的阶级意识，而又科学地反映了客观世界和历史发展的规律。无产阶级的思想体系，摈弃维护剥削和压迫的没落阶级的思想体系，同时，继承和发展人类历史上各种思想体系中的优秀成果和一切有价值的东西。邓小平曾指出：“我们在新民主主义革命时期，就已经坚持用共产主义的思想体系指导整个工作”（邓小平，1994：367）。无产阶级的共产主义思想体系，即马克思列宁主义，它是在无产阶级反对资产阶级的斗争中产生和发展起来的，它正确地反映了自然、社会和人类思维的本质及其发展规律，代表了无产阶级和广大劳动人民的利益，是人类历史上最进步、最革命、最科学的思想体系，是无产阶级和广大人民群众认识、改造世界的强大思想武器。习近平曾指出要：“深入学习实践中国特色社会主义理论体系特别是科学发展观，讲党性、重品行、作表率、矢志不渝为实现中国特色社会主义共同理想而奋斗”（习近平，2014：15）。随着社会主义的胜利，马克思主义的共产主义思想体系日益成为整个社会的思想体系，它对培养人们科学的世界观和共产主义道德品质，起着愈来愈大的作用。
