莫高窟第233窟宋代修建，清代重修，主室中心佛坛上宋塑清修释迦牟尼佛，骑狮文殊、骑象普贤、二弟子、六菩萨和四力士。

Mogao Cave 233 was initially built during the Song Dynasty and was renovated during the Qing Dynasty. On the Buddhist altar at the center of its main hall are sculptures of the Sakyamuni Buddha, Bodhisattva Manjusri riding a lion, Bodhisattva Samantabhadra riding an elephant, two disciples, six other Bodhisattvas, and four mallas.
