佛教本生故事画，现存莫高窟西魏第285窟、隋代第302窟、晚唐第9窟三例，故事多以婆罗门闻罗刹说偈，高树投身为情节。

Three paintins of the story about the Buddha's past life as a Brahmin, currently preserved in Cave 285 of the Western Wei Dynasty, Cave 302 of the Sui Dynasty and Cave 9 of the Late Tang Dynasty. They mainly depict the story in which a Brahmin (the Buddha in his past life) was so eager to learn a verse of dharma from a Rakshasa that he was willing to jump down from a high tree to sacrifice his body to the latter in return for the verse.
