定义

极左，简单的说就是过高的估计自己，过低的评价困难和敌人。极左也就是把左派的思路推向极端，突破“自由的底限”。为获得无差别的公正，而取消绝大部分的自由，为取消绝大部分的自由，必须建立一个无比强大的国家机器，将人民的一切活动处于国家的控制之下。与之相对应的为极右，所谓极右，指把右派的思路推向极端，突破“平等的底限”。把反对国家限制强者推演成要强者控制国家欺凌弱者，宣称“国家就是为强者存在的”，实行寡头专政，取消对弱者的一切保护，一切自由。“极左”和“极右”也常意味着极端主义（Extremism）。在共产党国家，极左派一般指党内的信奉原教旨主义、顽固拒绝变革的狂热分子。需要强调的是左不一定是极左,左派和左翼是好的进步的，极左和极右一样是对社会有危害的（via: http://www.baike.com/wiki/%E6%9E%81%E5%B7%A6）。
