定义

价值规律又称“价值法则”，即商品的价值量取决于社会必要劳动时间，商品按照价值相等的原则互相交换。在商品经济条件下，价值规律是商品生产和商品交换的基本规律，是其他诸经济规律的基础规律。马克思指出：“商品的价值规律决定社会在它所支配的全部劳动时间中能够用多少时间去生产每一种特殊商品”（马克思，1975：394）。价值规律是通过市场上价格与价值的背离，通过价格的波动来调节商品的生产和流通的，其具体表现形式为：价格围绕价值上下波动正是价值规律作用的表现形式。因商品价格虽然时升时降，但商品价格的变动总是以其价值为轴心。另外，从较长时期和全社会来看，商品价格与价值的偏离有正有负，可彼此抵消。因此总体上商品的价格与价值还是相等的。在私有制社会中，价值规律自发地调节生产，刺激生产技术的改进，加速商品生产者的分化。在社会主义社会中，由于社会主义经济是在公有制基础上的有计划的商品经济，因此，社会主义市场经济必须自觉依据和运用价值规律，以促进社会主义经济的发展。
