定义

经济关系亦称“生产关系”、“社会生产关系”，是人们在物质生产和再生产过程中结成的相互关系（金炳华，2003：306）。它是各种社会关系中最基本的关系。生产关系的内容有狭义和广义之分。狭义的生产关系是指直接生产过程中结成的人和人的关系。广义的生产关系是指包括生产、分配、交换、消费诸关系在内的生产关系体系。政治经济学所研究的生产关系，就是人们在社会生产总过程中所建立的诸方面的经济关系的总和。马克思主义理论中的生产关系概念，包含着劳动占有关系和劳动交往关系两方面。以劳动占有关系为主线，社会的发展阶段就分为原始公有制、奴隶制、封建领主制和封建地主制、资本主义私有制、共产主义公有制（第一阶段为社会主义公有制）五种经济形态。以劳动交往关系为主线，社会发展就分为三个阶段，即自然经济、商品经济、以劳动时间为计量单位的产品经济（via: http://baike.baidu.com/link?url=iZhkaKe3rtDNdNKByUhpdvDUIZRHpXkLACDwccEObrpA-K4WH47b4RcerCiCZZC-pv0Cl9GScvallpTC1r1FJK）。自然经济时代的经济关系是人对人的依赖关系，其最突出的特征就是服从。商品经济时代的经济关系是有独立性的人对物的依赖关系，这里所谓的“物”，就是货币，因此这种关系实际上是商品货币关系。以劳动时间为计量单位的产品经济体现社会成员自由个性的经济关系，这种经济关系要成为社会普遍的关系，必须有这两个基础：一是个人的全面发展，二是人们的共同社会生产能力成为他们的社会财富。
