《马克思的幽灵》全称《马克思的幽灵——债务国家、哀悼活动和新国际》，是法国著名哲学家德里达所著。该书于1993年由法国巴黎伽利略出版社出版。《马克思的幽灵》是根据德里达于1993年在加利福尼亚大学举办的全球化语境中马克思主义的位置与命运的国际讨论会上的发言扩充汇编而成。全书共分五章：第一章：马克思的指令。第二章：驱魔——马克思主义。第三章：耗损殆尽（一个不会老的世界的画面）。第四章：以革命的名义——双重街垒。第五章：隐形者的显形（现象学的“花招”）。是用解构主义思想重新阅读和改写马克思主义精神的代表作。认为我们都是马克思的幽灵，我们作为马克思主义的继承人、作为马克思的幽灵政治学和谱系学中的一员，都是马克思或者马克思主义精神的幽灵的具体化。作者运用《共产党宣言》中开篇即“共产主义幽灵”来表达马克思是我们的同时代人，认为那种充满弥赛亚主义的末世论的共产主义或马克思主义已经消亡了，但是马克思对资本主义社会的意识形态的摧毁和解构精神是我们应该继承的珍贵遗产，是萦绕在我们脑海里的幽灵。所以，马克思主义并没有死亡，它仍然通过幽灵的政治学和谱系学围剿资本主义和自由主义的同一性和终极性话语，以隐匿的形式复活。该书所呈现的马克思精神是解构主义版本的马克思精神，是通过马克思式的语言装扮起来的、被幽灵化的、虚化的和缺席的解构主义精神。当西方知识界和学术界思考社会主义和作为其政纲基础的马克思主义在全球性话语中的定位时，德里达通过历史的解构学逻辑重写马克思主义精神，将其修改为摧毁同一性话语霸权的解构策略，这与真正的马克思主义精神大相径庭。（金炳华，2003:1070）
