定义

应用逻辑，德国古典哲学家康德的逻辑学分类的一种。在康德那里，逻辑首先可以分为“普通逻辑”、“先验逻辑”、“特种逻辑”，“普通逻辑”可进一步分为“纯粹逻辑”与“应用逻辑”。“应用逻辑”就是与只研究先天原则的“纯粹逻辑”相对的一个逻辑分类，是“对于知性及其必然的具体应用规则的表述”（金炳华，2003：8）。主要借助于心理学来讨论具体思维的经验条件，研究对象包括：注意力及注意力的障碍和因而产生的后果、错误的来源、怀疑、踌躇与信念的种种情态等等。应用逻辑是与纯粹逻辑或经典逻辑相对立的一个哲学范畴，是通过改造纯逻辑以展现一定范围内特殊主题的逻辑问题的理论。纯粹逻辑只制定出一系列严格的抽象的体系，展示论证的形式结构，不注意内容；而应用逻辑则不仅受严格的逻辑形式支配，而且还牵涉到一个特定领域的某些题材的考虑，即牵涉到一般所说的实质方面、内容方面。应用逻辑主要着眼于应用，有广义和狭义之分，广义的应用逻辑指一切对形式逻辑的应用领域，如自然语言逻辑、法律逻辑、医疗逻辑等；狭义的应用逻辑仅指以数理逻辑为工具研究特定的思维领域所建立的不同于古典逻辑的新的逻辑分支。康德对逻辑学的这一分类，黑格尔曾在其《逻辑学》中进行过论述，“黑格尔认为这种相对于纯粹逻辑的‘应用逻辑’乃是‘一种从事于具体认识的逻辑’，按照这一理解，黑格尔就认为，‘因为每一门科学都要以思想和概念的形式来把握它的对象，在这种情况下，每一门科学都是应用逻辑’”（金炳华，2003：8）。
