定义

德国费尔巴哈主张把人对人的爱作为宗教信仰和实践的最高原则的哲学学说。“他试图用‘爱的宗教’去代替信仰上帝的宗教，用对人的爱去代替对上帝的爱”（金炳华等，2001：21）。他揭露基督教上帝的本质是人的本质即理性、意志、心等精神的异化，基督徒对上帝的爱，实际上是人对人自身的爱。他的目的就是把上帝现实化为人，“将神学转变为人类学”。爱是人类固有的、不变的天性，是人的本质。爱包括自爱和对他人之爱，只有对他人之爱，才能达到自爱的目的。只有男性或女性都是不完满的，他们在结合中才是完满的人。人类之间只有互爱，才能实现人与人的统一，构成不可分割的人类集体。“他把这种感情关系、道德关系提高为宗教感情关系，把人对人的爱涂上了宗教的色彩，‘把伦理变为宗教’，企图创立‘爱的宗教’。同时，他还玩弄语言学的把戏，认为宗教一词的原意即为“联系”，人与人之间的一切联系都是宗教。他认为通过爱可以解决社会中一切矛盾和苦难。恩格斯在《费尔巴哈和德国古典哲学的终学》中，揭露了这种爱的宗教的唯心主义和调和阶级矛盾的实质”（谭鑫田，1992：9）。但费尔巴哈以它同基督教抗衡，力图把人的注意力从天国世界引向世俗世界，因而在当时具有启蒙作用（周隆宾，1993：495）。
