定义

福特制（Fordism）是美国汽车垄断资本家、福特财团创始人福特（1863—1947）在实行生产自动化和产品标准化的基础上创立的一种生产组织形式，是一种加强对工人的剥削的血汗工作制。1913年福特制在他的工厂内首次采用。其主要内容包括生产自动化和生产标准化两个方面。生产自动化是使用能自动、连续、高速进行生产工作的设备，把生产过程组成流水线作业。（湖南省机械工程学会技术经济和管理现代化研究会，1982：12）生产标准化包括：第一，产品标准化。将生产集中于最佳的产品。第二，零件标准化。根据产品标准化的要求，使零件规格化，提高零件之间的互换程度。第三，车间专业化。将各种不同规格化的零件分别交给不同的专业车间制造。第四，机器和工具的专门化。采用高度专门化的专用机器和专用工具制造各种零件。第五，作业标准化。工人的操作是标准化的。福特制的实行简化了操作方法，使企业有可能广泛地雇用工资低廉的非熟练工人，加上福特制的实行较大地提高了生产效率，从而降低了产品的成本，在产业革命初期增强了企业的竞争力。（福特制.via： http://book.duxiu.com/EncyDetail.jsp?dxid=900007249378&d=DC2BC149D0066FA4A6FC2A3D34F53202）
