Mán de guò rén; mán bu guò shén.

瞞得過人, 瞞不過神。

Lit [One] can hide [the truth from other] people, [but one can]not hide [the truth from the] gods.

Fig One's misdeeds cannot be covered up forever. “Truth will (come) out in the end.”
