定义

高压态势，意指严格严密的监督、审查、管理、治理等形势。十八大以来，我国在打击侵权假冒、遏制腐败、打击网络侵权、打击非法集资、查办职务犯罪、进行消防检查等涉及经济、政治、社会民生等领域的诸类事项上始终强调保持高压态势。保持高压态势，是中国共产党和政府面对复杂的政治、经济、社会局势，针对党的自身建设、中国特色社会主义民主政治建设、中国特色社会主义经济建设、生态建设、文化建设、社会建设等事关中国特色社会主义建设事业的重大事项上明确提出的要求，表明中国特色社会主义建设和现代化建设的决心。针对腐败这一具体事项，当代中国正处于腐败高发降减期与高压反腐阵痛期相互交织的阶段，随着全面建成小康社会、全面深化改革、全面推进依法治国、全面从严治党、全面推进社会主义现代化进一步取得成效，我国的反腐事业取得着醒目的成绩，而这离不开党和政府始终强调并贯彻落实的保持反腐高压态势的号召与要求，因为只有对腐败施以高压，才能有效清理腐败存量、，才能有力遏制腐败增量、才能从根本上贯彻全面从严治党要求、，才能顺应人民群众对腐败深恶痛绝的期盼和要求、从而维护民主政治和人民大众的根本利益（田芝健等，2015：12）。
