定义

普遍意识为德国雅斯贝斯用语。是作为自我存在的大全的第一种形式，指主体在理智层次上的对象的存在，即是人的意识的出发点。它是具有理解力的意识，能把事物当作对象来认识、知解和意指，并由它构造一个观念世界。由于普遍意识表明各个主体之间具有相同的主体，把对象抽象化而忽略了它的个别性与特殊性，因而它不是任何个人的独有观念，而是一切人所共有的观念。认为事物只有呈现于意识之中才是存在，因为普遍意识是自我存在的出发点，但因其太空洞，为了返回现实，前进一步就到了实存的现实的人。认为普遍意识的自我还不是自我本身。自我本身不能是身体的自我、物质的自我或社会的自我，只有通过实存、精神达到生存，才达到了真正的自我本身（金炳华等，2001：1103）。
