定义

理论旨趣指理论的宗旨、意向、目标。如，就马克思现代性批判理论来说，马克思对现代性采取了辩证否定的立场，他通过对现代性的批判向人们展示了重建现代性的理想信念。这就是马克思和恩格斯指说的“全部问题都在于使现存世界革命化，实际地反对和改变事物的现状”（马克思，恩格斯，1995：48）。就此而言，批判已经不再是目的本身，而只是一种手段。批判的最终目的是要建构一个“新世界”，与其说批判是现代性的终结，倒不如说是它的一个新起点。因此，建构一种具有反思精神的现代性，这才是马克思批判现代性的价值指向。这就是马克思现代性批判中的理论旨趣（贾英健，2005：15）。
