定义

性-政治运动是20世纪30年代初在德国开展的将精神分析理论与社会主义政治相结合的运动。“性－政治”是由赖希于1929至1930年在维也纳所开展的“性－卫生”运动发展而来，并由赖希发起和领导。“赖希认为在现代社会，资本的统治除体现为经济剥削、政治压迫外，还通过文化教育、宗教、家庭以及日常生活行为来实施性压抑，塑造符合其制度所需要的性格结构”（金炳华，2003：963）赖希认为，由于儿童、青年的自然性冲动在家庭中被严重的压制，从而造成儿童、青年的神经质、自卑以致屈服于权威。另一方面，妇女则因其在经济上对丈夫的依赖和实行不自主的婚姻，形成了对自由生活的恐惧，难以实现自身的解放。赖希说，为了把儿童、青年和妇女从压抑和恐惧中解脱出来并成为能在文化和心理上进行自我解放和自我调节的新人，就必须要同时展开心理革命和政治革命，这便是“性－政治”运动的名词由来。从积极的意义上看，“性－政治”运动能够积极引导青年组织自己的健康生活，并处理好同双亲的冲突，对解决性对象和居住问题、鼓励工人树立主人翁感、发展工人的自我组织能力有着积极意义和作用。但是由于“性－政治”打算接管工厂作准备、主张妇女争取经济独立和性的独立，但对资本主义社会等原因，该“运动持续4年左右，因遭到德国共产党的批判和抵制而逐渐沉寂”（金炳华，2003：963）。
