定义

美国罗伊斯用语，意指人所感觉到的，但不能用描写的形式加以表达的经验世界（体验世界.via：
http://kns.cnki.net/kns/brief/Default_Result.aspx?code=CRPD&kw=体验世界&korder=0&sel=1&xkcode=*）。他认为一个人体验到一个瞬间的经验时，可以感觉到这样的世界或欣赏到这样的经验，也可以表示欢喜或憎恶，但人只能体验到它们的价值，却不能以言语表达出来。由于不能表达出来，就不能与别人是否有这种体验相比较，也不能了解两个人的体验是否有共同之处。但超越的爱，或无限忠诚，或对上帝的信仰可以由无限意志的作用而达到共同的体验，在这种场合，两个人或许多人就超越了他们的个别性而生活于统一性之中。他用这种共同的体验来说明个别性与无限的统一可以并存，表明上帝不仅是思想上的无限的统一，而且是对整体的自我的专注与爱（金炳华，2001：1441）。
