逻辑分析，是逻辑实证主义的基本哲学方法和哲学观点（金炳华，2003：385），指逻辑实证主义者借助数理逻辑对经验科学的命题以及传统哲学的命题进行分析，以显示出这些命题是否具有精确的意义的方法和观点（蒋永福，2000：488）。逻辑实证主义者认为，其学说完成了哲学的根本性的最后的转变，他们将运用数理逻辑对语言进行分析作为哲学的基本任务，同时，使哲学成为一种进行逻辑分析的活动，而非一种知识体系（冯契，2007：1855）。在逻辑实证主义者看来，逻辑分析虽然不能建立新的真理，但能给实证的知识以一种新的明确性，一方面澄清有意义的命题和概念，为事实科学以及数学奠定了基础，另一方面也拒斥了传统的形而上学命题，有益于取消无意义的词和无意义的伪陈述（蒋永福，2000：488）。逻辑分析按照语言的形式理论，将科学语言重建为形式语言，并以形式语言为对象，对其进行语义分析和语形分析。语义分析，是指运用逻辑语义学工具对科学概念和命题进行授义、对形式系统作解释的分析，语义分析为形式系统建立模型；语形分析则把有意义的概念和命题建立为形式系统。有时，逻辑分析专指语形分析（彭漪涟，2010：778）。
