Two kinds of suffering

内苦和外苦。内苦有二种，一切疾病为身苦、忧愁嫉恨为心苦；外苦有二种，盗贼虎狼之害、风雨寒暑之灾。

The two kinds of suffering are suffering from within and without. There are, in turn, two kinds of suffering from within: all diseases are suffering of the body, and anger and jealousy are suffering of the mind. There are two kinds of suffering from without: human and animal destruction, and natural disasters.
