首楞严经【英】

Śūraṃgama Samādhi Sūtra

定义

佛教经典，主要宣扬首楞严三昧的威力，谓菩萨如得此三昧，不仅不为恶魔及烦恼所扰，且如大将之率诸兵，能使一切三昧悉皆随从。

A sutra which proclaims the power of sūraṃgama samādhi (a meditation practice) and suggests that if a bodhisattva follows this practice, he will not only become free from the disturbance of māras (demons) and kleśa (negative mental states), but he can also take command of all samādhis, as a general takes command of an army.
