在家佛教徒着装，敦煌壁画以维摩诘为代表，自隋至宋，维摩洁所著服装形制如一：著大袖襦裙、戴透明的白纶巾、披棕色羽毛大衣、凭几持麈尾。

It is a form of clothing for lay Buddhists. Lay Buddhist dress is represented by Vimalakirti in the Dunhuang murals, and he is depicted thus from the Sui Dynasty to the Song Dynasty: wearing a wide-sleeved robe, a transparent white scarf woven with silk ribbons, and a brown feathery coat, leaning against a table and holding an elk tail whisk.
