定义

具体劳动与抽象劳动相对，是生产不同使用价值的不同性质和不同形式的劳动。各种商品的不同使用价值，是由不同的具体木工创造新价值劳动生产出来的。如木工做家具，纺织工人纺纱织布等。具体劳动是根据劳动的目的、对象、操作方法、劳动资料和劳动结果等来区分的。作为生产使用价值的具体劳动，是同人类社会一起存在的，它反映的是人与自然之间的关系。具体劳动虽然是创造使用价值的劳动，但不是使用价值的唯一源泉，具体劳动和自然物质共同构成使用价值的源泉。正象威廉·配第所说，劳动是财富之父，土地是财富之母。（此处的“财富”实际上是指使用价值，泛指所有的自然物）。具体劳动创造使用价值，并把生产中消耗掉的生产资料的价值转移到新产品中去（具体劳动.via: http://baike.sogou.com/v55398891.htm?fromTitle=%E5%85%B7%E4%BD%93%E5%8A%B3%E5%8A%A8）。具体劳动和抽象劳动是生产商品的同一劳动的两个方面，而不是两种或两次劳动。抽象劳动和具体劳动在时间上、空间上都是不可分割的。性质不同的具体劳动，生产性质不同的使用价值，它表明怎样劳动，什么劳动的问题；性质相同的抽象劳动，形成性质相同的价值，它表明劳动多少，劳动时间多长的问题。如：教师上课的具体劳动是采用集体或个体、讲授或讨论；抽象劳动是上了多长时间的课、教会了学生多少知识（具体劳动.via：http://baike.baidu.com/subview/331265/331265.htm）。
