善弓者师弓不师羿,善舟者师舟不师奡,善心者师心不师圣。· He who is good at shooting arrows learns through his own bow instead of from Yi (a master archer). He who is good at rowing learns through rowing his own boat instead of from Ao (a master oarsman). He who is good at thinking learns through his own mind instead of from instructions of the sages.
