| 释义 | 世俗之性，好奇怪之语，说虚妄之文。何则?实事不能快意，而华虚惊耳动心也。是故才能之士，好谈论者，增益实事，为美盛之语；用笔墨者，造生空文，为虚妄之传。听者以为真然，说而不舍；览者以为实事，传而不绝。 · Ordinary people admire eccentric words and enjoy unreal and fantastic remarks. Why? Because reality and facts can rarely please their minds，whereas beautiful but unreal words astonish and attract them. For this reason，talented scholars who are fond of talking always exaggerate true facts and speak in flowery language; writers compose unreal articles and make up false and fantastic stories. Listeners take what they say to be true and feel pleased. Readers accept them as real facts so they continue without end.
