定义

石窟窟顶形制之一。形如覆斗。平面大体作方形的石窟，均作此顶。隋、唐、五代、宋、元各时代石窟的顶部多循此式，其中心突起部分作华盖藻井，四斜面绘各种经变、千佛或图案纹样，但以绘千佛者为多。

It is one shape of grotto roofs with the appearance of a funnel placed upside down. Grottoes dug more or less in a square place are mostly built with roofs of this type and grottoes constructed in the Sui, the Tang, the Five Dynasties, the Song and the Yuan dynasties mostly have roofs of this type with an upward concaved center like a canopy or a lanterndecke ceiling, the four sides of which are slopes painted with all kinds of Sutra stories, images of thousands of Buddhas or decorative patterns, but most of the roof sides are painted with one thousand Buddha images.
