定义

性格结构，指人在日常生活和工作中表现出来的习惯行为的内在范型。是精神分析学和弗洛伊德主义的马克思主义用语，由弗洛伊德在《性格与肛门性欲》一文中初次提出。弗洛伊德认为，一个人的性格结构形成于儿童早期的经历，决定着人的思维、感觉和行为；其基本内驱力是性冲动；可以分为四个类型：口唇-接受性格、口唇-虐待性格，肛门-虐待性格、生殖性格；不同的性格结构代表了生命过程中人的能量被引到某一方向的一种特殊形式。后弗洛伊德主义的马克思主义代表人物赖希继承了弗洛伊德的思想，“认为它最初是作为对付外部压力和威胁而建立的一种保护装置，在对家庭惩罚的恐惧中发展起来，成年后变为制约自己内在冲动使之符合现实规范的控制装置。”（金炳华，2003：960）。此外，赖希还认为，“性格结构的形成还受到社会的经济、政治以及意识形态、道德命令、宗教教义的影响，而把意识形态扎根于个人性格结构之中的主要工具是家庭，家庭通过性压抑使意识形态扎根在个人性格中得以实现”（金炳华，2003：960）。赖希认为性格结构具有政治倾向，可以分为自主型和屈从型两种基本类型，社会上的各种政治思想与人的性格结构中各个层次相对应。人本主义哲学家和精神分析心理学弗罗姆也在赖希的基础上对性格结构进行了论述，把性格结构划分为自发创造型和非自发创造型两种基本类型，揭示了性格结构的形成基础和对社会经济的反作用。弗洛伊德、赖希、弗洛姆等人对性格结构的心理分析补充了马克思主义的经济分析与政治分析，对实现弗洛伊德主义的马克思主义具有重要促进作用。
