意识形态实践，法国著名的“结构主义马克思主义者”路易·阿尔图塞的哲学用语，指通过人力劳动将宗教、政治、伦理、法律、艺术等意识形态加工成为一种新的意识形态的过程。意识形态实践不属于实践范围，是为了强调理论的实践作用而将意识形态的实践成果进行理论加工后形成的科学理论成果，是社会实践的意识形态方面。不同于传统理论将意识形态解释为虚幻的不真实的意识，阿尔图塞“认为意识形态的真正根源既不是经验，也不是主体的虚构，而是一种象征、图式和概念系统，它把一种结构强加于阶级和个人，使人产生一种体验的和想像的对象”（金炳华，2002：970）。在阿尔都塞看来，意识形态不是由社会物质存在决定的观念和思想体系，它本身就是物质性的存在和实践活动，是社会再生产条件的再生产，是物质化的国家机器，是物质性的权力实践。在现代资本主义社会中这种意识形态实践表现为主体意向、组织和特定机构的产生，发挥着国家机关的作用，其所代表社会功能是社会聚合的重要前提。意识形态实践最终表现为意识形态的国家机器的运转，如宗教、教育、文化的组织和政党团体等，可以通过生产关系实现再生产，使得对现存秩序的服从永久化。
