1.传说中的一种毒鸟，把它的羽毛泡在酒里，喝了可以毒死人 a legendary bird with poisonous feathers. It is said that wine steeped with its feather is lethal.
2.用鸩的羽毛泡成的毒酒 poinsoned wine(or wine steeped with this bird's poisonous feather)：饮～止渴（喻满足一时需要，不顾后果） yǐnzhèn-zhǐkě drink poison (poisoned wine) to quench thirst (fig. seek temporary relief which results in disaster)
