夫良药苦于口，而智者劝而饮之，知其入而已己疾也；忠言拂于耳，而明王听之，知其可以致功也。· A wise man，when sick，will manage to take the good medicine which is bitter in taste，because he knows that it can cure his disease. An intelligent king will accept the criticism though it is jarring on ears，because he knows that it is helpful for him to achieve great success.
