定义

虚拟资本主义，是指资本主义的经济主体从生产物质产品的工业转移到了游离于物质产品生产之外的金融业（谢世飞，2011：19）。马克思主义认为，虚拟资本是信用制度和货币资本化的产物。它是独立于现实的资本运动之外、以有价证券的形式存在、能给持有者按期带来一定收入的资本，如纸币、期票、汇票、股票、公债券、不动产抵押单等（《虚拟资本》，via：http://baike.baidu.com/link?url=sQ-zgXq_LEgjSMfEZ9IYlTvxE4XN4SQoeKkMkUuqYprPHpRhiBkFzc8dgFmughPBmlNKsBuRv2xU5bgjtavP5_）。冷战结束后，世界资本主义的资本主体逐步离开了物质生产过程，产业资本开始金融化，原有为物质生产服务的金融体系，也转入了主要生产虚拟的衍生金融品。由此，在发达国家内资本的主体开始与传统的物质生产过程逐渐分离，虚拟经济急剧膨胀，世界资本主义经济的主体已经从物质生产部门转移到非物质生产部门，由此引出资本主义经济的一系列深刻变化。这种资本主义的新形态，称之为虚拟资本主义（王建，2015，via：http://mcrp.macrochina.com.cn/u/2/archives/2015/2528.html）。
