持乐器的菩萨的通称。多出现于经变画或说法图中，是敦煌石窟壁画中最常见的音乐形象。

Generally, it refers to the Buddhists holding musical instruments. They usually appear in sutras or pictures of preaching. It is the most common music image in Dunhuang grottoes' paintings.
