Discovered in the Library Cave (Cave 17) at Mogao, preserved in the British Museum, ink and colors on silk, Ch.lxi.002, lv.009, 00114, etc.The fragments all depict scenes related to the life of the Buddha. They were painted meticulously with delicate brushstrokes and evenly-applied color.
