定义

客观世界与主观世界相对，指独立于人的主观世界之外的物质世界（金炳华，2001：757）。从内容上看，它包括两个部分即自然存在和人的社会存在。前者不依赖人的活动而独立存在，后者形成于人的实践活动之中，又不以人的意识为转移。二者的共同之处就在于具有客观实在性的世界物质统一性原理，非意识、非观念的集合体，其是绝对客观的。自然存在和人的社会存在的统一构成了“客观世界”。主观世界和客观世界的关系是对立的统一。首先，主观世界和客观世界在内容上是同构的。所谓同构指具有彼此对应的基本要素及其结构方式。主观世界与客观世界的同构性是由主观世界本身形成的前提、条件和基础造成的。主观世界并不是离开客观世界而独立自存的实体，也不是一个超然于客观世界而绝对孤立自存的世界，它从属于客观世界，也是由客观世界演化的。其次，主观世界的运动规律和客观世界的运动规律具有同一性。由于主观世界在内容上与客观世界具有同构性，主观世界的运动规律是对客观世界运动规律的反映和升华，故它同样具有必然性、重复有效性的特征，不管人们是否意识到思维规律的要求，及是否遵循思维规律进行认识活动，思维规律都要起作用。再次，主观世界和客观世界又是互相转化的。主观世界，尤其是其中的理想存在通过实践又能够转化为现实存在，成为客观世界的一部分，并不断地更新着客观世界的内容（客观世界.via：http://baike.baidu.com/link?url=IbSm3S5AKAceP6zc58palPyH8D9KCIPNUzT5tWTJHDX9rFOmfm24tn0Ze5vFAqEIAJiraGVGA4KUXcEqADK3Qq）。
