定义

教条主义亦称“本本主义”，主观主义的一种表现形式。它主要特点是把书本、理论当教条，思想僵化，一切从定义、公式出发，不从实际出发，反对具体情况具体分析，否认实践是检验真理的标准。教条主义轻视实践、割裂理论与实践、主观与客观的具体的历史的统一。教条主义是一种与辩证唯物主义、历史唯物主义相对立的世界观和方法论。具体形态上，教条主义可以分为老教条主义和新教条主义。老教条主义对我国来讲，最早可以追溯到二十世纪三十年代，在六七十年代达到顶峰，当代又复活起来。其基本表现是：不去深入反思社会主义运动的经验教训，不去洞穿透析历史曲折、指出在它们后面所隐藏的传统社会主义制度本身所存在的问题，不去冷静分析发展繁荣后面隐藏的资本主义制度的某些合理因子。针对发展和变化了的客观现实，他们不是不反思，而是只知道固守经典马列主义、斯大林主义甚至毛泽东思想的几乎全部的内容，抱着一成不变的思路来反思。新教条主义对中国而言，诞生于上世纪八十年中后期。其基本表现正好与第一种态度相对：无视当代资本主义实践所昭示的曲折和丑恶，只是因为资本主义发展的繁荣便浅薄地接受资本主义的全部；无视社会主义实践创造的巨大成就和其中内蕴的合理内核，只是因为社会主义运动所显现的暂时的曲折和教训，便草率地抛弃社会主义的全部。针对发展和变化了的客观现实，他们也不是不反思，而是只知道全盘接受、卖力宣传西方的这个思想、那个理论。总的来看，在中国共产党历史上，教条主义不懂得马克思主义普遍真理必须同中国的具体实践相结合，曾给革命和建设带来严重危害。（汪信砚，陈立新，2005：147）。
