定义

感觉经验指由感觉而取得的知识。认识的最初起点。各个哲学派别对感觉经验的解释各不相同。唯物主义经验论哲学家如伊壁鸠鲁、培根、霍布斯、狄德罗等，都承认感觉经验来自客观存在，是外界事物刺激人的感官所引起的结果，感觉经验是对外界事物的反映。唯心主义经验派贝克莱认为知识的对象是观念，观念即感觉，是人心中的主观感受，感觉经验不是对外界事物的反映，相反，外界事物是“观念的集合”或“感觉的组合”。休谟认为一切观念都从知觉而来，但对产生感觉经验的原因持怀疑态度。它们究竟由什么引起是无法知道的。康德认为感觉经验由内容与形式两部分组成，自在之物刺激人们的感官产生印象与观念，但这些印象与观念杂乱无章，必须由直观形式加以整理才成为经验知识。现代西方唯心主义经验派对待感觉经验的态度各自不一，他们一般否认感觉经验的客观来源（金炳华等，2001：412）。
