Two ways of transmigration

顺流和逆流。顺流是众生顺生死之流，背涅槃之道，流转生死的因果；逆流是逆生死之流，向涅槃之道，还归寂灭的因果。

The two types of transmigration are "following transmigration" and "resistance transmigration". Following transmigration is the cause of the cycle of birth and death. All beings who follow the stream of life and death turn away from the way of Buddha. Resistance transmigration means resisting the return to death, to counter the flow of life and death, to achieve the way of Buddha.
