定义

理论的社会主义是关于社会主义的科学的理论体系、理论模型与实践模式。理论的社会主义产生有其社会基础和阶级基础。它根源于资本主义的经济关系，同时借助已有的思想材料而建立。其理论形式起初表现为空想社会主义理论，产生于资本主义工场手工业时期，常有不同程度的小生产者的平均主义和禁欲主义。19世纪初，随着资本主义工业革命的发展，出现以法国的圣西门、傅立叶和英国的欧文为代表的批判的空想社会主义理论。19世纪40年代，资本主义生产方式在西欧先进国家已占统治地位，随着资本主义的发展，资本主义内部矛盾日益尖锐，无产阶级反对资产阶级的斗争日益高涨。马克思和恩格斯参加了当时阶级斗争的实践。在此基础上，周密地研究了资本主义生产方式的矛盾，批判地继承了18世纪三大空想社会主义者法国的圣西门、傅立叶和英国的欧文的思想成果，创立了唯物史观和剩余价值论，使社会主义从空想变为科学。1848年，《共产党宣言》发表，标志着科学社会主义的诞生。1867年发表的《资本论》和1875年撰写的《哥达纲领批判》，对科学社会主义的理论原理进行了深刻的论证（科学社会主义.via：http://baike.baidu.com/link?url=1fAmvdy1gnpJW72Ca9tF2qBFvfHesbR5fZWxSBX7ab1bvRVd8oIHZE1Fc156Ncb4O70QuKnBFYRsNLbWXDwTd_）。“20世纪以来，科学社会主义理论不断发展，并在许多国家中转变为现实”（金炳华，2001：818）。在我国，经过革命和实践的检验，逐渐形成了包括邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想以及科学发展观等重大战略思想在内的中国特色社会主义理论体系。
