Remnant of Sheet Music for the Tune of “Silk-Washing Stream”

敦煌曲谱。P.3719,该谱残存三行，首行为:“浣溪沙慢二急三慢三急三”，与敦煌舞谱(P.3501、S.5643等)中“序词”相同，似为曲名及节拍表示；二、三行中包括十一个谱字，其中十个与敦煌曲谱《二十谱字》中符号基本相同，唯多一“幺”字。该谱的音乐内容尚待考证。

As a piece of sheet music from Dunhuang, only three lines of the tune of Silk-Washing Stream (P.3719) survive. The first line goes: “Silk-Washing Stream, two slow beats, three quick beats, three slow beats, three quick beats,” which resembles the “prelude” of the dance notation from Dunhuang (P.3501, S.5643) and seems to be a record of the song and its rhythm. In the second and third lines, there are eleven score characters, ten of which are exactly the same as those in the Twenty Musical Notation Characters, with only one extra character“幺”. The music in this remnant of sheet music is waiting for textual research.
