They are two lyric poems from the Tang Dynasty recorded in Dunhuang manuscripts, with the poets unidentified. The first poem concerns the tale of Lady Meng Jiang; the second depicts a scene where a man pressed into military service bids farewell to his parents, wife, and children, and is most likely not part of the tale of Lady Meng Jiang.
