Cave 323 at Mogao: The Stone of Sakya Drying the Robe

佛教史迹画，位于莫高窟初唐第323窟主室北壁，画面主要描绘释迦洗衣后，摊衣晒在池旁巨石上，时间一长，就将石头浸出了十三条衣纹，外道恨愤佛陀，就以脚践踏此石而遭雷击。

This is a painting of a Buddhist historical event, drawn in the early Tang period, on the northern wall of the main hall of Cave 323 at the Mogao grottoes. After washing clean a tattered robe, Sakya spread it on a large stone by the side of the pool, to dry for quite a while, thus leaving thirteen marks on it. Some members of dissident religious groups trampled on the stone out of hatred towards Sakya, and so ended up by being struck by lightning.
